Dan Patterson of Buffalo, N.Y., currently works as a tax accountant for H&R Block, where he annually prepares tax forms for 250 clients and advises clients on financial planning. Prior to working for H&R Block, he was a bowling center manager for Brunswick for three years. He was the 2006 U.S. Amateur champion and is a three-time member of Team USA (2005-2007). He won three gold medals (singles, doubles, national all-events) and a silver (team) at the 2005 Tournament of the Americas. Patterson, who served on the USBC Nominating Committee from 2008-2010, graduated from Arizona State University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He earned a post baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Arizona State in 2002. |
