Coaches Registration
Program Unavailable for 2013-2014 Season
First, I
would like to thank all of you for your participation and support over the
years in regards to the USBC High School Coaches Registration Program.
This program
was initially created to help provide coaches with instructional resources and
give coaches the ability to recognize the accomplishments of their high school
bowling teams.
However, as
more engaging and rewarding memberships were created, the Coaches Registration
Program has consistently declined in use.
The USBC Scholastic Membership has given
high school bowlers around the country the opportunity to become USBC basic
youth members; entitling them to a certified average, the ability to participate
in USBC certified tournaments, and the opportunity of earning a USBC youth high
score award for their accomplishment.
Because of
the great benefits the USBC Scholastic
Membership offers, the Coaches Registration Program has become a tool of
the past. As of August 1, 2013 the Coaches Registration Program will no longer
be available to high school coaches and teams.
We encourage
you to continue your participation with the USBC
Scholastic Membership. This membership will give you the ability to still earn
the Scholastic awards, previously honored through the Coaches Registration
Program; in addition to the USBC youth high score awards that come with a USBC
Scholastic Membership. Additionally, USBC
Scholastic will make participating high school bowlers eligible for the Dexter/USBC High School All-American Team.
I thank you
for your understanding in this matter and your continued commitment to high
school bowling. Because of you, more kids are deciding to bowl. I am excited to
move forward with the USBC Scholastic
Membership, and I am excited what this membership can do for those youth
bowlers.
