The United States swept the doubles gold medals in the opening event of bowling at the 2011 Pan American Games. Chris Barnes and Bill O'Neill topped the men's field by 193 pins, while Liz Johnson and Kelly Kulick easily won the women's event at Bolerama Tapatio.
