Zaffino wins PBA Central Region title

Jeff Zaffino of Warren, Pa., defeated Dave Traber of Hebron, Ill. by 30 pins to win the Professional Bowlers Association Central Region’s Boss Snow Plows/Track Open at PinHeads Saturday.

Zaffino finished the one-day tournament with a 4-4 match play record and a total of 4,012 pins for 16 games, including match play bonus pins. The title was Zaffino’s third of the year in the PBA Central Region and his 19th career PBA Regional title. He earned $2,000 along with his title.

The next PBA Central Region event will be the 5th Annual Implement Classic in Coldwater, Ohio, Aug. 17-19.
