Mooresville, N.C. – Jeff Schrum of Cherryville, N.C., defeated Kent Wagner of Palmetto, Fla., 235-203 and 197-190, in the best-of-three-game title match to win his third Professional Bowlers Association South Region title in the Budweiser Senior Open at Victory Lanes Sunday.

Schrum earned $1,600 while Wagner pocketed $900 as the runner-up.

In the best-of-three semifinal round, Schrum defeated Danny Weikel of Dallas, N.C., 208-181 and 193-167 while Wagner swept Dennis Lane of Kingsport, Tenn., 210-188 and 186-176.

The PBA South Region’s next tournament will be Jacksonville, Fla. NAS, October 12, 2012.
