Team USA taking resumes for Senior Worlds

Team USATeamUSALOGOLARGEARLINGTON, Texas - The World Tenpin Bowling Association will hold the inaugural World Senior Championships from Aug. 10-16 (2013) at Red Rock Lanes in Las Vegas, and the Team USA program now is accepting resumes from eligible bowlers interested in representing the United States.

A total of four men and four women from each country will compete in the event, and all players must be at least 50 years old sometime during the 2013 calendar year. Competitors will bowl for medals in singles, doubles, team, all-events and Masters.

Bowling resumes can be submitted starting Dec. 4 and must be received by Feb. 1.

A USBC committee will select the eight players who will represent Team USA, and selections will be announced in March.

Those selected will receive a paid entry into the World Senior Championships and an official uniform but will be responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
