    The Mount Mercy men and William Penn women made it through bracket play unbeaten, taking the titles at the Roto Grip Eagles Baker Challenge at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill.

    In the women's championship, William Penn defeated Robert Morris-Peoria to take the title, while the Mount Mercy men knocked off William Penn in the title match.

    The RMU men dominated qualifying by 752 pins over the next closest team, finishing with a total of 8,225. McKendree qualified in second place with 7,473, while Davenport was third with 7,231.

    The women's division was a little closer but Robert Morris still led qualifying  by nearly 300 pins after totaling 7,581. Ashford was second with 7,289 with Robert Morris-Peoria a close third with 7,270.

    In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:

    - At the Storm Hoinke Bearcat Classic, Notre Dame-Ohio took a narrow win in the men's division, while the Lindenwood women won their division by a wide margin.

    - The Webber International men and women both led qualifying and went on to win the bracket portion of the FSU Seminole Classic.

    - The West Texas A&M men swept first place at the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Conference's third and fourth meets of the season. In the women's division, Central Oklahoma won the third meet, while West Texas A&M took the fourth meet.

    - At the Mid-Winter Invitational NCAA event, Nebraska defeated top seed Central Missouri, 4-3, despite falling behind 0-3 in the best-of-seven title match.
