The Clarke men and Illinois State women picked up victories at the Warhawk Open in Madison, Wis., over the weekend.

After entering bracket play as the No. 6 seed, the Clarke men made their way through match play defeating Wisconsin-Whitewater, St. Ambrose and then William Penn in the title match. Robert Morris-Illinois entered as the top seed after leading qualifying, but lost in the semifinals.

The women's bracket had a similar story as Illinois State also came from the No.6 seed to win by defeating Highland CC in the title match. The Robert Morris-Illinois women, like the men, led qualifying, but lost in their first match to Highland.

In the men's individual standings, Ryan Keith of St. Ambrose led the way with a six-game total of 1,356 (226 average), while Ryan Zagar of Robert Morris-Illinois was second with 1,257. William Penn's Cam Foster was third with 1,248, St. Ambrose's Kyle Anderson was fourth with 1,235 and Rock Valley's Jordan Hastings and Robert Morris' Mason Petrin tied for fifth with 1,224.

The Robert Morris women took the top two spots in the women's individual standings with Leea Haworth finishing first with 1,226 (204.3 average) and Samantha Kelly taking second with 1,184. Cardinal Strich's Elizabeth Kramer was third with 1,181, Robert Morris' Courtney Johnston was fourth with 1,143 and Hayley Painter of Illinois State took fifth with 1,127.

In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:

- At the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree #3 in Farmington Hills, Mich., the Davenport men and women easily swept the titles.

- At the Great Plains Open in Lincoln, Neb., the Nebraska men and Midland women finished on top.

- At the Cardinal Classic in Muncie, Ind., the Bowling Green women and Huntington men both took narrow victories in their respective divisions.

- At the MEAC Conference Meet #2 North in Hampton, Va., Maryland Eastern-Shore finished with the top pinfall among the field of six teams.

- At the MEAC Conference Meet #2 South in Greensboro, N.C., Norfolk State went undefeated in matches and topped the pinfall standings.
