Congratulations to the winners of the final two events on the 2007 USBC Mixed Team Challenge schedule. Buzzsaw (Kellee Tadiello, Todd Tadiello, Noel Suarez and Dave Fournier) of Oakley, CA., won the event in Concord on May 19.
In the weekend's second event in Fountain Valley, CA., Del Rio TC (Christopher Metz, Ramiro Garcia, Helena Conley and Herbert Jones) of Downey, CA., took home the title.
SPECIAL NOTE: We want to thank everyone who participated in the 2007 events and hope you enjoyed the experience. A total of 535 teams competed in the fourteen 2007 tournaments and 10 of those events were sold out. The schedule for the 2008 tournaments will see only a few minor changes from the 2007 schedule and we hope to have entries available by the first of September.

Add a little spice to your league bowling season by competing in one of the sport's most unique grassroots competitions -- the United States Bowling Congress/Storm Mixed Team Challenge. From February through May, 14 nationwide challenges offer four-player handicap team competition for bowlers of all abilities.
The one-day events consist of three games of traditional bowling followed by 10 games of Baker competition, where the team members alternate frames. Total pins from both rounds determine the champion.
The Mixed Team Challenge uses a 90 percent handicap of 900 (combined average for four players). All teams must have at least one woman player with any combination of men and women allowed. A minimum of one in six teams cash in each event. All participants are automatically entered into a random drawing for the opportunity to win Storm bowling balls and tote bags.
