Karen Jost of Tumwater, Washington, is Health Services Analysis Program Manager at the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Her bowling career began in the late 1980s as a league bowler. She joined her local WBA board in 1995, and has continued to serve as a volunteer leader at local, state and national levels in Washington State and in Northern Virginia. She currently is a director on the Thurston County USBC Association (Washington State) board. She was inducted into the South Sound USBC Hall of Fame in 2012. Jost graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Minor-Physical Education), and subsequently received a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Duke University. She is a licensed physical therapist and now is managing healthcare purchasing for workers injured on the job in Washington State.
