Karen Jost of Tumwater, Washington, started her third term on the board and first as vice president with the 2018-2019 season (she also served as vice president during the 2019-2020 season). She is a Health Services Analysis Program Manager at the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Her bowling career began in the late 1980s as a league bowler. She joined her local WBA board in 1995, and has continued to serve as a volunteer leader at local, state and national levels. She was inducted into the South Sound USBC Hall of Fame in 2012. Jost graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Minor-Physical Education), received a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Duke University and is a licensed physical therapist.
