Nancy Schenk of Fayetteville, North Carolina, served as the president of the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America from 2016-2018 after serving a year as vice president, two years as a treasurer and two years as secretary. She was a member of the USBC Board of Directors during that time as well. She is the general manager and vice president of B&B Bowling Lanes and has been around the bowling business her entire life, following in the footsteps of her well-known father, Howard Baum, a 2008 BPAA Hall of Famer. She has served as an at-large director and on a number of committees including Tournaments, Youth, Regional Task Force, Bowling Organization for Women in Leadership, Young Guns, Member Benefits, Membership Oversight, Skills Center Advisory Board, and the Strategic Task Force. Schenk served as president of The Bowling Foundation and secretary of Strike Ten Entertainment. She also served on the Budget and Finance, Executive and International Bowl Expo committees. She has many accomplishments as a bowler, including a 300 game. She was a three-year letter winner for her high school bowling team, all-conference selection for three years, most valuable player for two years and was on the North Carolina State bowling team from 1995-1997. Schenk was inducted into the BPAA Hall of Fame in 2022 when she was also honored with the Victor Lerner Memorial Medal. She holds a Chemical Engineering degree from North Carolina State and has worked as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and IBM before starting a family with her husband, Gary.
