WinLABS Training Resources

WinLABS is a free computer software application created by USBC to process information for Adult members. The program provides automated solutions for certifying Adult leagues, members, bowler achievements and tournaments.

WinLABS transmits association data to USBC Headquarters electronically. A National Bowler Database receives the league and member information and the association's account is electronically debited for appropriate dues.

To utilize WinLABS, we recommend that an association has a computer with the Windows 10 operating system. While Windows 7 and 8.1 will work with WinLABS, Microsoft is ending all support for Windows 7 in January 2020 and Windows 8.1 is no longer available for purchase.

When considering a new Windows 10 computer, be aware that WinLABS will not install on Windows 10 systems operating in S-Mode. Check the computer specifications for any computer you are considering – if the specifications state the Operating System is Windows 10 (Home, Pro, or any other version) S-Mode, that computer will need to have S-Mode disabled before WinLABS can be installed.
