DelAndersonDel J. Anderson II, left, 16, of Corona, Calif., has been bowling for 12 years and is having a remarkable season. He currently is carrying a 209 average in the Saturday Wildcats League at Arlington Lanes in Riverside. Del bowled his first 300 game on April 6, and also had games of 207 and 236 for a 743 series. Del, who was diagnosed with autism at age 4, recently bowled in his first Pepsi tournament and has bowled in many USBC Youth tournaments.  His favorite PBA bowler is Jason Belmonte and he wishes one day he could meet him.

Nick Duplan, 18, of Citrus Heights, Calif., competes in a Team USA Experience trios league at Fireside Lanes. On March 23, in the Sport bowling league, Nick opened his series with a 300 game on the Stockholm pattern and finished with games of 180 and 193 for a 673 series. A week later, bowling on the Montreal pattern, Nick again started his set with a 300 game en route to a 701 series (300, 216, 185).

KatarinaHaglerKatarina Hagler, right, 6, of Tamarac, Fla., has been bowling in leagues since she was 3. She bowls in the Saturday Youth league at Sawgrass Lanes, and bowls with her dad in the Bowler's Edge Major/Minor League on Sunday. On April 7, Katarina had games of 147, 196, and 158 for a 501 series. The 196 is her new high game and the 501 is her new high series.

Larry Petersen Jr., 17, of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., rolled his first 300 game on January 17 at Carmel Bowl. A senior at John Jay High School, his perfect game came during a high school match in the Dutchess-Putnam Interscholastic Bowling League.

DerrickHubacherDerrick Hubacher, left, 15, of Faribault, Minn., bowled a 300 game and a 704 series during the district level of the 2013 Minnesota USBC Pepsi Youth Championships at Jesse James Lanes in Northfield on April 6. Derrick, whose league average is 187, had games of 226, 178 and 300.

AaronBeyerAaron Beyer, right, 18, of Manawa, Wis., had a 300 game and 824 series during the Wednesday High School league on March 6 at Keglers Bowling Center. He had games of 300, 288, and 236 to set his personal best. Along with league, Aaron was a member of his high school team that took first in district. He participates in many bowling tournaments and had a 299 as part of a 706 series in the Pepsi regional tournament on March 23. He will continue his bowling career at Viterbo University.

Kathryn Lantz, 16, of Elkhart, Ind., bowled her first 300 game and 750 series (195, 300, 255) on March 23 in the Fearsome Foursome league at Signature Lanes. Her average at the time was 172 and her previous high game/high series was 253/599. Kathryn bowls for Concord High School and also helps coach middle school bowling at Signature Lanes. Kathryn hopes to bowl in college.

MichaelDonahueMichael Donahue, left, 11, of Tampa, Fla., rolled his personal high game of 255 on March 10, and the following week had games of 212, 204 and 205 for a 621 to set a personal high series. All games were in the Junior/Adult league at Pin Chasers Veterans in Tampa.  

Logan Furlong, 11, of Oviedo, Fla., has been bowling at Oviedo Bowling Center for eight years, starting in a bumpers league. A Junior Gold member, Logan is the youngest bowler in the Great Orlando USBC Youth Association with a 700 series after he had games of 246, 267, and 255 for a 768 series on Nov. 10, 2012. He has a high game of 279 and has a goal of a perfect game in his sights. He bowls in all tournaments and wants to bowl in the Youth Open.

SpencerSchieleSpencer Schiele, right, 11, of Norristown, Pa., has been bowling since age 4. He had games of 224, 202, and 217 for a 643 series in the Facenda Bantams league at Facenda Whitaker Lanes in Norristown on March 16. It was Spencer's first 600 series.

AlexAllenderAlex Allender, left, 18, of Dubois, Pa., had 300 games in back-to-back weeks in the Dubois Lanes Junior League. He had his first career 300 game on March 16 as part of a 778 series (222, 256, 300). On March 23, he had games of 192, 300, and 277 for a 769 series. Alex is the first bowler in the Dubois Lanes youth bowling leagues to have a 300 game.

SarahSanes2Sarah Sanes, right, 11, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., had an amazing two weeks in April. She locked up Bowler of the Year in Georgia for 15-and-under and will participate in the Tournament of Champions in June, and was selected MVP of the Rutherford County Middle Schools and All County Team. At the Tennessee State Youth Tournament in Chattanooga, she had games of 173, 269, and 269 for a 711 series.

Nick Leonard, 15, of Genoa, N.Y., rolled games of 276, 213, and 214 for a 703 series, his first 700 series, at King Ferry Bowling Center during his junior league. Nick averages 183 in the league.
