PBA Experience Win-A-Spot promotion extended

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Professional Bowlers Association has extended the PBA Experience Win-A-Spot promotion, which provides United States Bowling Congress Sport Bowling members the opportunity to earn a free entry into a PBA regional tournament, through 2014.

USBC teamed with the PBA in 2013 to award members of the winning team of PBA Experience leagues a paid entry into a PBA regional event. More than 150 Sport Bowling league winners took advantage of the opportunity by requesting the voucher to compete in a PBA regional tournament.

The PBA Experience Win-A-Spot promotion also allowed proprietors and center managers to provide bowlers a valuable award at no cost simply by starting a PBA Experience league.

The PBA Experience Win-A-Spot promotion eligibility requirements will remain the same: the PBA Experience league must have a minimum of eight teams and must bowl for a minimum of 12 weeks. The league must follow all Sport Bowling guidelines outlined in the Sport Bowling technical manual, and the bowlers must be USBC Sport Bowling members in good standing. All members of the league’s winning team – up to five players – will earn the PBA regional entry vouchers.

While winners can choose the PBA regional in which they want to participate, Regional Players Invitational events and other selected PBA regional events are not part of the promotion, and a maximum of three spots will be available for PBA Experience league winners at each approved PBA regional.
