Michael Italia of Royersford, Pennsylvania, has served on the USBC board since 2007. He is president of the Reading-Pottstown USBC Association and a public safety professional in Montgomery County, Pa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration from the University of Phoenix, and holds many certificates in fire and rescue services as well as emergency preparedness. A third-generation bowler and a member of USBC, the former American Bowling Congress and Young American Bowling Alliance for more than three decades, he has one 300 game and 796 high series. He also enjoys coaching youth bowlers and helping form new leagues and getting new members. He currently is on the Legal and Legislative Committee and was chair of the Nominating Committee for two seasons. Michael is married with two bowling children, Johanna and Luke.
