ARLINGTON, Texas -
Team USA will send six of the best bowlers in the world to represent the United States at the 2014 World Men's Championships in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in December.

Chris Barnes (Double Oak, Texas), Mike Fagan (Dallas), Tommy Jones (Simpsonville, South Carolina), Marshall Kent (Yakima, Washington), Bill O'Neill (Langhorne, Pennsylvania) and Sean Rash (Montgomery, Illinois) have been selected by the Team USA coaching staff to compete in the event.

The World Men's Championships will take place Dec. 6-14 at Zayed Sports City. All rounds of the event will be broadcast live on BOWL.com's BowlTV.

"The level of talent on Team USA is incredible and narrowing it down to just six guys is always a challenge," Team USA head coach Rod Ross said. "Our goal is always to bring home as many gold medals as possible, and we are sending a very talented team to accomplish that goal."

Players from an estimated 52 countries will compete for medals in six events - singles, doubles, trios, team, all-events and Masters match play - at the World Men's Championships.

The United States topped the medal table at the 2013 World Championships in Henderson, Nevada, earning three gold medals, two silvers and three bronze.

Bowling fans will be able to watch every minute of the World Men's Championships live on BowlTV. For a complete schedule in Eastern time, visit BOWL.com/LiveStream.
