The Grand View women and Lindenwood men walked away from the ISYL Leatherneck Classic with victories over the weekend.

Grand View qualified as the No. 5 seed at Miller Time Bowling in Davenport, Iowa, and took care of Wichita State, 2-1, and Hastings, 2-1, before meeting Robert Morris-Springfield in the match-play bracket final. The finals went to a deciding third game, where Grand View prevailed, 183-127, to capture the win.

Haley Baser of Robert Morris-Springfield earned the top individual spot with a six-game total of 1,235 (205.8 average). William Penn's Stephanie Adams finished second with 1,225, while Sara Michalowicz of St. Francis-Illinois took third with 1,209.

On the men's side, Lindenwood qualified second at Highland Park Bowl in Moline, Illinois, and defeated St. Francis-Illinois, 2-1, and Wichita State, 2-0, to set up a title tilt with Wisconsin-Whitewater. Lindenwood took care of business, 2-0, to take home the title.

McKendree's Greg Young averaged more than 232 for the weekend on his way to the men's individual title, finishing the six-game block with 1,393. Wichita State's Francois Lavoie (1,324) took second just ahead of McKendree's AJ Johnson (1,314).

In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:

- At the CIAA Event 1 in Midlothian, Virginia, Bowie State put together a flawless performance on their way to a 12-0 record to take the top spot in the North standings, while Fayetteville State went 8-1 to lead the way in the South standings.

- At the Crusader Classic in Valparaiso, Indiana, Nebraska defeated Arkansas State, 4-1, to take home the win.

- At the SWIBC III in College Station, Texas, both the West Texas A&M men and women cruised to victory.

- At the Roto Grip Raider Classic in Kettering, Ohio, the Morehead State men outlasted Ohio State, 2-0, in the finals, while the Pikeville women defeated Wright State, 2-0.

- At the Northeast Conference Meet No. 1 in Wallingford, Connecticut, Sacred Heart held off a late charge from Fairleigh Dickinson to take the top spot.

- At the Big Red Invitational in Cortland, New York, Mohawk Valley jumped out to an early lead and held on for the victory.

- At the Stevens Invitational in Oakland, New Jersey, William Paterson rolled to a win by more than 300 pins over the field.

- At the MEAC Southern Conference Meet No. 1 in Durham, North Carolina, North Carolina A&T State finished with a 7-1 record to finish at the top of the standings.

- At the Penn State Classic in State College, Pennsylvania, Penn State held strong during Baker competition to earn the win.
