Gift For Life Scholarships awarded to 12 youth bowlers
ARLINGTON, Texas - Twelve youth bowlers have been selected by the International Bowling Campus Youth Committee to receive Gift For Life Scholarships in 2016. All 12 of this year's recipients are seniors in high school.
The Gift For Life Scholarships annually are awarded to 12 United States Bowling Congress Youth members who are in need of financial assistance to obtain a college education. Applicants must be current USBC Youth members in high school and have a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale).
To be considered for a Gift For Life scholarship, applicants were required to supply two letters of recommendation, submit an essay and discuss their community service efforts as part of the application process.
The 2016 Gift For Life Scholarship recipients are:

- Paige McCaslin, Eagle, Nebraska
- Caitlin Neier, Blauvelt, New York
- Rebecca Ratkowski, Waterford, Wisconsin
- Kayla Stammer, Vermillion, South Dakota
- Mariah Williams, Bloomington, New York
