New Convention information
Transportation

USBC has been working diligently with some local businesses to make everyone’s trip to Convention is as worry-free and fun as possible. We have partnered with GO Yellow Checker Shuttle to provide delegates with discounted airport transportation. By clicking here, attendees can search for the best option available.

Texas Rangers tickets

For delegates interested in attending the Texas Rangers baseball game on Friday evening, April 27, USBC has negotiated discounted pricing for our delegates and guests. Tickets are available for as low as $10 and can be purchased online by clicking here. The password to access available seats and pricing is bowling12.

Update to rings being shipped incorrectly to bowlers
As you are aware, USBC has encountered issues with honor score rings being shipped to the bowler though the application states that it should be shipped to the local association. We believe we have resolved the transmission issues and associations can now process the awards as they are received.

If you have any additional questions, please contact the Bowling Information Center at 1-800-514-2695 or email bowlinfo@bowl.com.

Welcome letter message in WinLABs
With the summer season only a week away, it is important for all associations to update their welcome letter message in WinLABs. Please remember that each person that joins over the summer will see this welcome letter and the information should be pertinent to the message the association wants to send. To change your welcome message, please go to “Setup” and then select Welcome Letter Message.

Bowl for the Cure receives award from Komen

Bowl for the Cure, sponsored by the United States Bowling Congress, recently was presented with the 2012 Reach Award by Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Bowl for the Cure was cited for growing its goals and community outreach each year in its past initiatives and for the current million-dollar challenge that was launched this year.

The award was presented by Susan Ford Bales, daughter of President Gerald Ford and Betty Ford on behalf of Susan G. Komen for the Cure on March 2 at the 2012 Komen Leadership Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
