Unused SMART funds soon will expire

The SMART program soon will expire funds for youth bowlers who have not used the funds in their accounts during the required time period.

The information set by the scholarship provider determines the expiration date of the scholarship awarded. The recipient has eight years from the date of high school graduation to use the funds.

The SMART staff encourages anyone with scholarship funds to log into their SMART account to check the status of their funds. Remember, funds disbursement must be paid directly to the secondary educational institution.

Once a scholarship expires, the funds are returned to the Provider to use to enhance future bowling scholarships.

To log in to your account, or to create a login if you do not have one, please click here. Please remember to review all of your personal information and make updates to keep your contact information current. Scholarship funds can be used at universities, colleges, business schools, technical schools, trade schools and vocational schools.

SMART scholarship funds may be used for tuition/fees, on-campus meal plans and on-campus housing. Scholarships also may be used through the campus book store to purchase textbooks, required class supplies and equipment necessary for completion of a course or program.
