Gladys M. Banker served as the sixth WIBC president from 1988 to 1993. During her years of service, Banker established grassroots programs to strengthen WIBC's membership ranks. She also implemented the WIBC Future Leaders Program. The WIBC Gladys M. Banker Friendship Award recognizes someone who has been a good friend of WIBC and of the sport and business of bowling.
