For more than 30 years, Anne Marie Duggan has made her mark on the bowling scene. In 1983, the eight-time Southern California All-Star and Southern California Bowler of the Year made national news in the $25,000 Bonanza Classic with a then-world-record eight-game series of 1,977. Duggan won the 1991 U.S. Women's Open, the 1994 USBC Queens and the Sam's Town LPBT Hammer Players Championship, thus capturing the women's professional bowling Triple Crown. Duggan won 15 national and 25 regional titles and was named to five All-America first teams and four Bowlers Journal All-America teams. She was the 1994 PWBA Player of the Year and Bowling Writers' Association of America Bowler of the Year. Duggan has been inducted into the hall of fame of Women's Professional Bowling and Southern California Bowling Writers.
