Inducted: 1976
Induction into any hall of fame at the age of 31 is a rare feat. But for Judy Soutar, who turned pro at the tender age of 16, bowling achievements had a way of coming very early. Mrs. Soutar (then Judy Audsley) entered her first USBC Women’s Championships at the age of nine and later finished second in the World’s Invitational. Not surprisingly, she won the 1963 Alberta E. Crowe Star of Tomorrow Award. As Judy Cook, she teamed with Gloria Simon for a record 1,315 pinfall which won the 1969 Women’s Championships doubles title. They repeated in 1970. She also won the 1974 USBC Queens. Mrs. Soutar was Bowler of the Year in 1973 and 1975. She was voted to the Woman Bowler magazine All-America first team in 1973-74, 1974-75 and 1975-76.
