Jouglard won the first USBC Masters in 1951. He also captured the USBC Open Championships singles and Team All-Events titles that year en route to earning BWAA Bowler of the Year honors. He was one of the few stars who stayed with the three-step approach. While an outstanding individual performer, he always was considered one of the best team players in the country.
