If you’ve bowled throughout the years, you’ve probably had the opportunity to meet some characters along the way. If you’re newer to the sport, keep an eye out for these guys and gals!

 

Captain Clutch

If someone is referred to as Captain Clutch, just assume they have ice water in their veins. When Captain Clutch isn’t having the best day, you’ll still want them making the shots in the 10th for your team. Captain Clutch just has a way of finding a double when your team needs it for the win.

 

Methodical Mark

Methodical Mark makes sure everything is right before delivering a strike. He has the same pre-shot routine, spends the same amount of time on the approach for each shot and maybe takes a little bit longer than some other competitors may like. That won’t stop Methodical Mark from executing shot after shot.

 

Walkout Wayne

Walkout Wayne gets a little excited after a few strikes. If you’re bowling next to Walkout Wayne, you know it’s best to wait for him to finish his delivery and wait for the celebration. Otherwise, you may walk in to Walkout Wayne!

 

Samantha Split

Samantha Split has an uncanny ability to cover every split … ever. Just when you think Sammy’s given your team a chance to make up some ground, she’ll convert the 2-10 (or 3-7 for lefties) without blinking an eye.
