Madison Bailey of Rocklin, California, could become the next superstar in the sport of bowling. This past summer, Madison took home the first 12-and-under title at the USBC Junior Gold Championships held in Buffalo, New York.

But it almost didn't happen.

Prior to her success on the lanes, Madison spent much of her time as a competitive dancer before an injury forced her to find a new sport. Luckily for us (and not so lucky for her opponents), she was a natural at sending 10 pins back into the pit.

Madison already has her sights set on competing collegiately, and has compiled more than $6,000 in scholarships through bowling.
