Right now, October may seem like a long way off, but it's only 4 months away! Summer is a great time to get started planning an October event. To drive some inspiration for what that event might be, here are some great ideas below:

Silent auctions
Pinfall for donations
Bowling games that involve donations can be a lot of fun. Ideas like donating a penny for each pin knocked down, donating 1/10th of your total pinfall or, if the center agrees to do it, winning a prize for striking on a frame with a pink pin are all great ways to get people involved and having a good time.
Can you smell the fierce competition?
Hosting sales events
Do you know a bunch of bowlers? If they've been at it for years, chances are they may have some old equipment lying around. With enough of that, you can put together an equipment sale and have all the proceeds go to Bowl for the Cure.
Partnering with a Local Komen Affiliate
Reaching out to get a local Komen affiliate involved can change the game entirely. You can open your event up to participants that have at other events, work with them on getting the word out and 100% of your donation can go to that Komen affiliate. Check out this article for more.
