The Sweepstakes: 2019 USBC Convention “BenefitHub Cruise Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”)” provides a chance for one (1) USBC member and one (1) guest of their choice to win a 10-day Alaskan Cruise via Star Princess Cruiselines.
Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins 12:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on April 23, 2018 and ends at 11.59 p.m. CT on April 26, 2018 (the “Sweepstakes period”). United States Bowling Congress’ designated computer is the official time keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to members of the United States Bowling Congress, 18 years of age or older, who are legal residents of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and membership status for purposes of the preceding sentence are determined as of the first announcement of this Sweepstakes (April 23, 2018). Employees, agents, officers and directors of Visit Wichita, United States Bowling Congress and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (“Sweepstake parties”) and the immediate family members or household members of such persons are not eligible. Participation in any part of the Sweepstakes constitutes a participant’s agreement to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sweepstakes judges and such decisions shall be final. United States Bowling Congress reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this Sweepstakes any person United States Bowling Congress believed has violated these Official Rules.
How to Enter: Any eligible entrant who registers for a Benefit Hub account during the Sweepstakes Period will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. Alternate Means of Entry: Eligible entrants may alternatively enter this Sweepstakes without making a purchase. To enter without a purchase, eligible entrants may submit an entry by mail by legibly printing or typing on a 8.5” by 11” piece of paper the following information: entrant’s name, age, address, telephone number, email address (if available) and the words “BENEFITHUB CRUISE SWEEPSTAKES". The completed entry should be mailed to USBC Marketing, Attn: Benefit Hub Cruise Sweepstakes, 621 Six Flags Dr., Arlington, TX 76011. Entries must be postmarked during the Sweepstakes Period and received by April 26, 2018 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per outer envelope or mailer. Limit one (1) entry per eligible entrant regardless of means of entry. Entries will not be acknowledged.
Prizes: After applicable verification and subject to compliance with these Official Rules, Complimentary ten (10) day Alaskan cruise via Star Princess during preferred dates described by winner.
No transfer or substitution of prizes permitted except where required by law. Odds of winning depend of the total number of eligible entries received. Taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner or Guests as the case may be. All expenses, costs and fees not expressly included above are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner or Guests. The total number of prizes to be awarded in the Sweepstakes is one (1). Sponsor reserves the right to request from any entrant to provide additional documentation it reasonably believes is necessary to validate any entry or to award any prize. Limit one (1) prize per person.
A tentative Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about May 18, 2018. The tentative winner will be notified via telephone and/or email on or about a week following the drawing date. A notified person, at his or her sole discretion, may disclaim the applicable prize by not claiming such prize or by not completing and returning to Sponsor the Sponsor’s Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within the deadline date of July 31, 2018 and in such case an alternate tentative Grand Prize winner will be selected and this process will be repeated until such time as a tentative Grand Prize winner completes and returns to Sponsor the Sponsor’s Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within the deadline date of July 31, 2018. At such time, subject to verification by the Sweepstakes Sponsor’s designated judges, a tentative Grand Prize winner will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. Except where prohibited by law, the Grand Prize Winner further grants to the Sponsor and its designees the right to use his or her name, photographs, voices and likenesses and cities of residence for purposes of advertising or promoting and publicizing the efforts and activities of the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes without further consideration and to release their names to persons requesting the name of the winner of the Sweepstakes. Non-compliance or the return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Names of Winners: For the name of the Grand Prize Winner, available after May determination (approximately May 18, 2018), send a self-addressed stamped envelope (except where not required by state law) to: USBC MARKETING, ATTN. BenefitHub Cruise SWEEPSTAKES WINNER’S LIST at the following address: 621 Six Flags Dr., Arlington, TX 76011.
RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANTS (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY GUESTS), AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, THE SWEEPSTAKES PARTIES, AND THE JUDGES FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE, INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. EACH PARTICIPANT FURTHER AGREES THAT IN ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, THE SWEEPSTAKES PARTIES’ LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE COST OF PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SWEEPSTAKES PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ATTORNEY’S FEES, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL, DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES AND EACH PARTICIPANT WAIVES THE RIGHT TO CLAIM ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.
Conduct: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as contemplated in the Official Rules or otherwise planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate or modify the Sweepstakes and/or to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the Sweepstakes or violates these Official Rules. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, misdirected, or postage due entries or mail, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, or provider, computer
equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes.
Dispute Resolution: Except where prohibited by law, each participant agrees that any, and all, disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any class action, exclusively by the courts located in the judicial district including Arlington, Texas. All issues concerning the construction, validity, and interpretation of these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas (and federal laws, as applicable), without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules that would result in the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal laws.

Official Rules will also be posted at www.bowl.com/MemberRewards/Convention in connection with the Sweepstakes.
