Now that the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles have concluded and the 2015-2016 USBC league season has commenced, special needs bowlers can take advantage of the USBC’s Special Olympics annual membership. Here is a brief synopsis of the many benefits that are available to USBC special needs bowlers.
A USBC Membership Card
This membership card is the same that is provided to all other USBC members meaning access to USBC member rewards at http://BOWL.com/MemberRewards.
Awards for Achievements on the Lanes

Rules
Special needs bowlers can be a part of leagues and tournaments with
standardized rules that allow for fair competition and participation in the
sport of bowling.
The Special Olympics flag is held up at the 2002 Open Championships in Billings, Montana.
Certified Averages and Tournaments
The USBC will certify averages for special needs bowlers that can be used at USBC-certified tournaments including the Open and Women’s Championships.
