In 1986, Carol Norman became the first bowler in Women's International Bowling Congress history to roll consecutive sanctioned 300 games. For more than 20 years, she held averages of over 200. Norman is a six-time professional bowling titlist, including the 1987 U.S. Women's Open and the 1992 Santa Maria Classic. Norman also is a two-time USBC Women's Championships titlist: She was the 1990 Open Division All-Events champion, and she was a member of the Classic Division championship team in 1996. At the start of her pro career, Norman was the Ladies Professional Bowlers Tour Ebonite Rookie of the Year in 1982. She was a USBC All-American in 1987, and she was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1997.
