Caruana was the first to roll consecutive 300 games. His 1,115 four-game record, which included the back-to-back 300s, stood for 50 years before being tied in 1974. Caruana followed the perfect games with 247 and 268. He also had a successful USBC Open Championship career, including three finishes in the top 10 of all-events.
