Kissoff won the 1953 USBC Open Championships doubles title with Eddie Koepp and captured eight other tournament titles. He was a billiards expert in his youth, adept at the kiss shot. His real name was Zelinsky, but he finally adopted Kissoff as a reflection of his billiards skill.
