Johnny Harris seeks his first term on the USBC Board. He currently is the association manager for the Virginia State USBC and has been on the state board since 1999, serving as president in 2007. He also is the current association manager for the Lynchburg Area USBC, a position he has held since they merged in 2006. Prior to this, he had served on the Lynchburg BA board since 1976 and has chaired every committee at one time. He has served on the Southeast Bowling Association Board of Directors since 2004, currently serving as president. He started bowling in the AJBC in 1963 and is a member of both the Lynchburg Area USBC and the Virginia State USBC Halls of Fame. He recently retired after spending the last 39-plus years with WestRock Paperboard as a Master Electrician Engineer and feels one of his strengths is he can generally find common ground with others in any situation.
