Bowling with Dominos

Bowling with Dominos

On a perfect strike, the ball should only hit four of the 10 pins. For righties, the ball should hit the 1, 3, 5 and 9 pins (1, 2, 5 and 8 for southpaws), and those pins should fall/fly in such a manner as to take down the rest of the pins. Kind of like setting up dominos in a line so when that first domino is pushed over, it takes down the entire string of dominos.

So what kind of carry would you have if you rolled a ball down a lane made of dominos with pins made of dominos? Let’s take a look!

Hitting the head pin straight on, the ball and falling dominos take out the 1, 5, 8 and 9 and parts of the 2 and 3 pins. Talk about rough carry!

The spare attempt leaves the 10 pin standing. Who would have thought that it’s easier to carry with actual pins over dominos?!
