NTCA COACHES' / MEDIA NCAA TEAM POLLS

The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) is the voice and leadership for NCAA Women's Bowling. The NTCA has issued Coaches' Team Polls for the past 10 seasons, dating back to 2004-2005. A Media Poll was introduced for the 2011-2012 season. We have now added an online archive of all past NTCA Coaches' and NTCA Media NCAA Team Polls. The online archive includes the lists of the ranked teams, as well as those teams unranked but receiving votes.

The NTCA Coaches originally released two NTCA Coaches' Team Polls in 2004-2005 which were the product of selections by a representative committee at the NTCA national meetings. These initial polls ranked the top 10 NCAA women's teams but did not include the points received or number of first place votes.

During the second year, the NTCA Coaches' Team Poll was expanded to include 15 teams and both point totals and the number of first place votes were included with the published results. An additional team was added in the third year for a total of 16 ranked teams. From 2007-2008 through the present, the NTCA Coaches have ranked the top 20 NCAA women's varsity teams.
