Marci Williams, of Wichita, Kansas, served three terms on the USBC board, ending her tenure after the 2016-2017 season. She also served as the USBC representative to the BPAA board and on the Bowlers To Veterans Link (BVL) board. She served as the Great Plains USBC Association president from 2005-2010. The association was named 2005 Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America Association of the Year and was the first governing body of a sport inducted into the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame (2010). A bowler for more than 35 years, she was inducted into the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame in 2015, the Great Plains USBC Hall of Fame for Superior Performance in 2014 and also received the Award of Excellence from the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame for contributions to the sport of bowling. Williams worked for Learjet, Inc. for 34 years, including 20 as a corporate tax analyst.
