BIO: Fran Bax has established himself among the most dominant and high-profile bowlers in Niagara Falls and throughout Western New York since the mid-1970s. A star player in his formative years during the early 1970s, Fran developed into one of the first true power players of bowling in the Niagara Frontier. A member of several Halls of Fames at the state and local levels for his bowling accomplishments, Fran owns many local, state, regional and national bowling tournament titles and honors, including selections as “Bowler of the Year” of bowling associations in Buffalo, the Tonawandas and Niagara Falls.

Fran has shared his bowling experience and theoretical talents in the community during the past three decades. As a United States Bowling Congress Silver-Trained Coach, Fran has provided bowling instruction to individual and groups as well as providing lectures at several established bowling instruction clinics. Fran’s 45 years of bowling industry experience includes bowling equipment sales, bowling ball fitting and drilling, and technical support for several local bowling centers and pro shops.
