Bowling's ITRC now offers membership packages

The chance for bowlers to hone their skills on the lanes at the International Training and Research Center and have the world-class ITRC staff assist them with their equipment now is available to United States Bowling Congress members through the ITRC Membership Program.

Three levels currently are offered through the ITRC Membership Program. Features include time on the lanes, services from the pro shop and a package that includes the use of on-lane training software.

"We've had many teams and individuals come to the ITRC for coaching, and the ITRC always is available to USBC members for lessons," ITRC and Team USA head coach Rod Ross said. "However, there are several bowlers who would like to train on the ITRC lanes and patterns, as well as have packages to maintain and service their equipment. With the ITRC Membership Program, bowlers now have more options."

Each ITRC Membership Program package offers lane time, two options offer a labor package and a 30-percent discount on lessons, and a third option offers use of the Computer Aided Tracking System (CATS). A labor package includes ball drilling, ball resurfacing or ball rejuvenation. Each tier requires a three-month minimum subscription and renewals also require a three-month minimum. A look at the packages:

Tier 1 - Three hours of bowling for the month. Cost $40/month (a $75 value).
Tier 2 -
Six hours of bowling, one labor package per month and a 30% discount on lessons. Cost $65/month (a $209 value).
Tier 3 - Eight hours of bowling, two labor packages per month, one CATS session per month and a 30% discount on lessons. Cost $95/month (a $350 value).

Bowlers who would like to upgrade to a higher tier during their subscription period would be required to have a three-month subscription at the new tier.
