Northside Lanes, an 18-lane center in Hartford City, Ind., was destroyed by fire Wednesday night.

One resident of Hartford City (population: 6,300) described the center as "about the only thing there is to do in Hartford."

According to reports, the fire broke out about a half-hour after the center had closed for the day. No one was injured.
