Norway Leads

25-year-old Bjorn Einar Rudshagen from a small town some 150 km from Oslo grabbed Squad 3 of the finals by the bootstraps to
take first place on the leaderboard and contribute to the dumping of some very famous names from Europe and beyond.
The lithe bowling center employee hit 958 to lead the squad, 21 pins better than second placed Petteri Salonen from Finland. Kamilla Kjeldsen, the Danish international, who posted 1445 to lead the opening squad last MOnday night, held on to third place with 922.
But the shocks came with those names that bit the dust. PBA pro bowler Mika Koivuniemi could only manage 810 to finish six places below the cut which came at 859. Defending champion Martin Larsen is also out.
The top 12 now continue with another four games from which the leading four will contest the two-game, total pinfall semi-finals.
