Collegiate Ticker - Dec. 5, 2018

For the second time in three weeks, the Toledo men and Wright State women found themselves at the top of the standings as each captured a title at the Toledo Classic in Toledo, Ohio.

Held at New Glass Bowl Lanes, the event welcomed 17 men's and 13 women's varsity teams. Competition consisted of four traditional games and 16 Baker games, with total pinfall determining the champion in each division.

Fresh off wins at the Bowling Green State Falcon Classic two weeks ago, the Toledo men and Wright State women each held a slight lead on the field at the conclusion of the traditional-game block before creating some distance with strong performances in Baker competition.

The Toledo men finished with a 7,200 total to claim the top spot, 137 pins ahead of Wright State (7,063). Robert Morris-Pennsylvania finished third with 6,744.
