ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: IBPSIA Certified Pro Shop Technician. I've got a strong passion to help others, and I've loved the sport of bowling ever since I started in the 5th grade. My Dad's side of the family was huge on bowling, and his love for the sport was passed down to his kids. Growing up bowling, I had the pleasure of being around bowling centers as much as I wanted. When I was not at the lanes practicing, I was practicing some sort of bowling mechanic in my house from arm-swing, to release, to footwork, etc. In middle school bowling, we were always the underdogs, giving up mass amounts of handicap per game, however, we managed to take first place in our division multiple times. In high school, there was no bowling club as the school was brand new, but I had the privilege of starting it. I took this opportunity and my knowledge of the game to start coaching and helping others. Although we didn't win as a school, my teammates and I grew immensely. Throughout the early stages of my bowling career, I had multiple coaches and learned a lot from each of them. As I got older and toward the end of my senior year in high school, I had multiple people telling me that I had what it takes to go pro. However, I made the decision to join the Army National Guard instead. After some unfortunate events and injuries occurred, bowling competitively for me became extremely hard and painful, even after rest and rehab. Bowling is what I enjoy more than most things in life and I wanted to stay around the sport, and find a way to help others. After talking with friends and family, I decided to change careers and dive into the pro shop business, as well as USBC Coaching. Within about six months I obtained my IBSPIA Pro Shop Technician Certification, and passed all of the requirements to earn my USBC Silver Coaching status.
