2015 U.S. Open Set to Begin with Lane Pattern Announcement on Xtra Frame

The PBA, in conjunction with the USBC, has announced that PBA’s online bowling channel Xtra Frame will provide exclusive live coverage of the 2015 Bowlmor AMF U.S. Open lane conditioning pattern announcement Monday, Nov. 2 at 11:30 a.m. ET from AMF Garland Lanes in Garland, Texas.

The show will be hosted by Mike Jakubowski with special guest, USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy.

In addition to the announcement of the lane conditioning pattern, Xtra Frame will provide in-depth coverage of lane conditioning procedures for the third major of the 2015 PBA Tour season including lane topography evaluation and USBC specifications.

Xtra Frame commentator, Ron Hickland, will also talk with PBA players during the live stream to get their insights on how they will attack what is sure to be one of the most demanding lane conditions and formats in the sport.

Exclusive live coverage of the qualifying and match play rounds of the U.S. Open follow Monday’s oil pattern announcement on Xtra Frame. Qualifying coverage will include eight-game squads beginning at 9 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3; Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Thursday, Nov. 5, followed by the eight-game cashers round at 11 a.m. on Nov. 6. Three eight-game match play rounds will begin at 7 p.m. on Nov. 6, and at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Nov. 7. All times noted are Eastern. The stepladder finals will air live on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. ET.
