Bowler hits unexpected strike during OC

Bowlers from all over the country are flocking to Reno for the USBC Open Championships, but one New Yorker hit the most unexpected strike of this year’s tournament at Silver Legacy Resort Casino.

Annette Barnes of Flushing, New York scored big on the Power Strike-Harley Davidson machines on Wednesday, March 17. Annette won the jackpot, a beautiful new Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider motorcycle, worth approximately $18,000.

“It was unbelievable!” explained Barnes, who had only been playing for about five minutes when she threw the lucky strike. She hit 9 fireballs on a penny bet to win the grand prize Hog.  This is the fourth Harley to be given away at Silver Legacy since the Power Strike-Harley Davidson game began.
