Bowlers Journal launching digital magazine

As Bowlers Journal prepares to celebrate its 100th year, Luby Publishing, Inc., will launch Bowlers Journal interactive, a digital complement that will be made available to United States Bowling Congress members.

BJi logo 180x180Bowlers Journal interactive will debut November 15, and the monthly browser-based publication will focus on bowling instruction, profiles, product reviews and pop culture features. It also will contain exclusive multimedia features and social media integration.

While there will be some overlap with content in the printed Bowlers Journal, including 100th Anniversary features and the coveted BJI Ball Review, Bowlers Journal interactive promises primarily exclusive content.

“Over the past 100 years, Bowlers Journal has enjoyed a phenomenal relationship with people who share a passion and enthusiasm for bowling,” said LPI publisher Mike Panozzo. “It's exciting to now add this digital component, which will engage more bowling enthusiasts than ever.”

Through an exclusive arrangement, USBC members will be emailed a link to Bowlers Journal interactive. USBC members who might not have provided an email address when they signed up for their membership can go to BOWL.com and click on the “Activate Membership” at the top of the page.
