Bowling Teams Up With NASCAR on Saturday
Richard Petty Motorsports and Strike Ten Entertainment this week announced a new, one-race partnership that will feature GoBowling.com as the primary sponsor of the No. 9 Ford driven by Sam Hornish Jr.
The No. 9 GoBowling.com Ford will make its on-track debut at the Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race this Saturday (Sept. 12) at the Richmond International Raceway.
This isn't GoBowling.com's first race; the website partnered with Richard Petty Motorsports at the 2014 GoBowling.com 400 at Pocono Raceway. With more than 71 million people taking to the lanes every year, GoBowling.com is a one-stop location where people of all ages can go to satisfy their love of bowling
“We are very excited to once again partner with Richard Petty Motorsports as we continue to raise awareness for the sport of bowling among NASCAR’s loyal fan base,” said John Harbuck, President of Strike Ten Entertainment. “Like bowling, racing is recognized by fans all over the world, and we believe Richard, Sam and the entire No. 9 team will be great ambassadors for both the sport and our bowling centers across the country.”
Noted BPAA President Tom Martino: “There is so much energy and attention on this race, it’s a night that you want to be a part of. We can connect with so many race fans and drive them to GoBowling.com and into our 3,500 bowling centers across this great country. Partnering with Richard Petty Motorsports and Sam Hornish Jr. allows us to be a part of a great day, and hopefully we end the night with a win.”
“We couldn't be happier to have GoBowling.com continue their commitment with Richard Petty Motorsports,” said Mike Hargrave, Executive Vice President and CMO of Richard Petty Motorsports. “Saturday’s race provides them with a big stage on one of NASCAR’s premier nights. We’re looking forward to bringing their brand to the passionate NASCAR fan base this week.”
