Sherry Gutkowski, National Exhibit Sales Manager for the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America, was killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.

According to a report in the Dallas Morning News, Gutkowski was testing driving a motorcycle in a private parking lot adjacent to a motorcycle dealership in Carrollton, Texas, when she hit a curb, flipped and fell off.

Although she was wearing a helmet, Gutkowski sustained fatal injuries.

“Sherry was a key member of our Meetings and Events Department, and had been in her position for a little over a year,” said BPAA Director of Meetings and Events Kelly Parker. “She was well loved by all of her coworkers and she will be greatly missed.”
