College teams visit International Bowling Campus

ARLINGTON, Texas - The International Bowling Campus played host to several college bowling teams in town over the weekend to compete in the United States Bowling Congress Collegiate sectional qualifiers.

San Jose State University had four bowlers travel to Euless, Texas, to take part in the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships sectional qualifier. Since their team did not qualify for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships sectionals, the bowlers spent Saturday training at the International Training and Research Center.

Among the teams that came for a tour of the ITRC and the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame was Fresno State.

"This place is amazing, just incredible," Fresno State coach Chris Preble said. "I hope that our trip here spurs interest in some of our kids to come back and do some training."

Other teams that stopped by the International Bowling Campus for a tour include Wichita State and Robert Morris-Peoria.
