The St. Ambrose men and Robert Morris-Illinois women advanced through the bracket to secure wins at the Ebonite Warhawk Open in Madison, Wisconsin, this past weekend.

The St. Ambrose men entered the best-of-three match-play bracket as the No. 3 seed, and knocked off top seed Robert Morris-Illinois in the championship round at Schwoegler's Park Towne Lanes, 2-0. The Fighting Bees advanced to the title match after knocking off No. 6 Mount Mercy, 2-0, and No. 2 Wisconsin-Whitewater, 2-1.

Ryan Zagar of Robert Morris-Illinois averaged more than 240 to take top individual honors, finishing his six-game block with a 1,443 total. Wisconsin-Whitewater's Zach Woelfel finished second with 1,414, and Midland's Joe Gourneau took third with 1,368.

On the women's side, which took place at Badger Bowl, No. 3 Robert Morris-Illinois lost the opening game against No. 4 Mount Mercy in the title round, but won the final two to lock up a 2-1 victory. The Eagles defeated No. 6 Clarke, 2-0, and No. 2 St. Ambrose, 2-0, to earn their spot in the finals.

Midland's Haley Hall cruised to the top spot in the individual standings, averaging 222 on her way to a 1,332 total. St. Ambrose's Kayla Crawford (1,221) and Elmhurst's Samantha Szura (1,213) finished second and third, respectively.

In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:

- At the Track Kat Klash in Houston, Nebraska defeated host Sam Houston State, 4-3, for the title.

- At the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference No. 3 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Lawrence Tech women and Concordia men captured wins.

- At the St. Stephen's Metro Collegiate Classic in Lakewood, New Jersey, the College of New Jersey men and Westchester Community College women finished at the top of the standings.

- At the Mustang Invitational in Sioux City, Iowa, the Hastings women and Midland men made their way through the bracket to earn titles.

- At the Shippensburg Classic in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, the St. John's men and Schenectady women collected victories.

- At the MEAC Northern Division in Middletown, Delaware, Delaware State paced the field with a 7-1 record for the weekend.

- At the MEAC Southern Division in Deland, Florida, Norfolk State led the way with a 7-1 record.
