Fifteen collegiate events took place across the country last weekend, highlighted by wins from the Bowling Green State men and Alma women at the Alma Scotty Classic in Jackson, Michigan.

The tournament was held at JAX 60, bringing together 19 men's varsity teams and 18 women's varsity programs. The event featured four traditional games and 16 Baker games, with total pinfall determining the winner in each division.

In the men's division, Bowling Green State finished the traditional block with games of 1,163 and 1,112 to take the lead by nearly 200 pins over Lourdes. The Falcons maintained their advantage throughout the Baker round, claiming the victory with a 7,436 total. Concordia rallied from sixth to second in Baker play, finishing with 7,239, and Lourdes was third with 7,221.

Individually, Michigan's Tevon Hastings claimed the top spot in the men's field, posting games of 255, 237, 223 and 225 for a 940 total (a 235 average). Madonna's Antar Howard was second with 930, while Bowling Green State's Tyler Lowenstein (925) and Steven Kocher (892) and Lourdes' Ian Friesner (863) finished in the top five.

On the women's side, Alma found itself in third place after the traditional block, trailing Lourdes by 94 pins. The Scots bounced back after putting together the top Baker performance, taking the win with a 6,767 total. Lourdes was second with 6,714, and Concordia finished third with 6,631.

Notre Dame-Ohio's Alisha Noon earned the top individual spot with an 824 total (a 206 average). Lourdes' Serena Nichols was second with 818, while Notre Dame-Ohio's Alexandria Dick (810) and Alma's Sarah Gadde (809) followed in the standings. Rochester's Tamera Robinson and Siena Heights' Tryna Gladstone tied for fifth with 801.

In other USBC Collegiate action over the weekend:

- At the CHC Baker Classic in Sinking Springs, Pennsylvania, the Fairleigh Dickinson women claimed the top spot.

- At the Wildcat Classic in Orlando, Florida, the Stephen F. Austin women led the way in total pinfall.

- At the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Championships in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the Kansas Wesleyan men and West Texas A&M women recorded the bracket wins.

- At the McKendree Baker Challenge in Fairview Heights, Illinois, the Wichita State women and Webber International men went undefeated in bracket play to collect wins.

- At the Great Lakes Bowling Conference No. 4 in Milwaukee, the Wisconsin-Milwaukee women stayed ahead of the field, while the Wisconsin-Whitewater men cruised to the top spot.

- At the Tony Reyes Memorial Collegiate Classic No. 1 and No. 2 in San Jose, California, the UNLV men and San Jose State women toppled the most pins.

- At the MSC Indianapolis Collegiate Classic in Indianapolis, the Pikeville women led the field by 774 pins, while the Marian men recorded a wire-to-wire victory.

- At the Cedar Valley Hawkeye Open and Cedar Valley Wartburg Open in Waterloo, Iowa, the Mount Mercy men and women swept the top spots.

- At the Suffolk Tournament in Babylon, New York, the Molloy women and Stevens Institute of Technology men rolled to big wins.

- At the Muskie Mash in Lancaster, Ohio, the Ohio State men and Morehead State women paced their respective fields.

- At the Arizona Cup in Glendale, Arizona, the Grand Canyon women and Arizona State men finished at the top of the standings.

- At the Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Conference No. 3 in Manalapan, New Jersey, the St. John's men bounced back during Baker competition to take the top spot.
